I’ve been on Topiramate/Topamax 25 mg for migraine since the beginning of April, in May increased the dosage to 50 mg. Now in the past two weeks my hair started to fall out like crazy, especially after washing it. Every wash means 2 hours of crying because this is just the last thing I needed. After talking to my neurologist I discontinued the drug and now I am all day everyday thinking about when/if will the hair loss stop. My hair is already thin and hair loss has always been my biggest nightmare. Does anyone have a similar experience with discontinuing Topiramate for hair loss? How long after that did the shedding stop? Did any supplements work for you?
