My experience-Resurgence in visual aura

Hi folks, new to the sub and hoping to hear from someone in the same boat. I get migraine with visual aura, typically multicoloured zig zags but sometimes fluttering ripples in my peripheral vision, usually lasts about 15 mins or so and is always quite unnerving. Yesterday I had an attack and the aura lasted about 30 mins so a bit longer than usual and then the headache arrived but by this morning I felt better if a bit groggy. I took paracetamol and aspirin which I don’t usually do but it seemed to work. However this eve I was having a drink (unwise as I know alcohol doesn’t help) and suddenly the aura came back but much more pronounced and took longer to go away, maybe 40 mins this time. Now the headache is back too. Normally I have a period of a few months between attacks and wondered if anyone had experienced an aura flare up again in less than 24 hours? Has anyone found their auras have lasted longer over time? Thanks :)
