My experience-Qulipta Program 6-no PA renewal

Title meant to say “mo”— 6 months, my bad autocorrect.

My physicians office hasn’t been responding to a request for prior authorization for Qulipta since May 24. For four hours I have been trying to contact the office, being bounced between admins and my epileptologist’s nurse (wtf, pay attention?!). Please just respond to the rq.

I’ve been on the phone with Pharmacy Solutions and Qulipta both last night and now today. I only get a 30 min lunch break. This isn’t long enough to solve this. Neurology closes in 30 min and they said they’re “working on it”.

I HAVE TWO TABS LEFT. As mentioned I also have epilepsy so I really need to avoid messing with my medication routine. They can overnight it… but not without the PA.

Thoughts and prayers please omg I’m an intractable patient with a 31-hr week job and today is only the first day of my week!

As many benefits as I get by getting stuff like this for free and low cost… feeling like such a hostage rn.

Moral: don’t always assume your auto-refill is “just late”.
