Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. My experience-Quick onset of migraines while taking Ajovy
While taking the Ajovy injections, my migraines have decreased from 15 per month to about 1-3 so I am extremely happy with that! However I am noticing that when I do get these migraines they come on HEAVY within a matter of minutes. In the past, I would pick up on little signals and know that if I didn’t take my medicine it would turn into a full blown migraine in a matter of hours. Now, I am getting no early warning signs.
Another benefit of being on the the Ajovy for me is that I am actually getting relief from just 600mg Ibu. In the past, 600mg Ibu would do nothing and I would need to take other prescriptions like Fioricet to get any relief. So even though the migraines are coming in fast and out of nowhere I am able to get it under control with some heat, ice and Ibuprofen.
I am just curious if anyone else has experienced this!
For more context, I have been taking the Ajovy injections for the last 16 months now and it has really worked wonders! I have suffered with migraines for 13+ years and am ecstatic to finally find a medication that works for me.
