My experience-Gum and Jaw pain?
Hi all! I'm 24 and was diagnosed with Chronic intractable hemiplegic migraines when I was 19 after many years of trying to get a diagnosis. I get Aimovig once a month and Nurtec. I don't have any dental issues and haven't had any cavities in 8 ish years, but migraines usually cause me a lot of pain in the gums, jaw, and around my neck. Actually, my neck sometimes gets visibly swollen during episodes. Does anybody else have experience with that? Is that normal? It's one of the symptoms that doesn't respond to any kind of medication. Just wanted to get some outside opinions/advice! Thanks!
