My experience-Emgality confusion

I was previously on propranolol but had exercise intolerance and not much migraine reduction, so I injected Emgality on Feb. 25th for the first time. It’s now my 4th month and I don’t know what to think anymore. 1st and 2nd month I used the auto injector, but that was THE most painful thing for me so I asked for the syringes from then on. First month was some relief, much less pain and brain fog overall. Second month was amazing - maybe 4 migraines all month (this was also the only leg injection I did). Month 3 I counted 14 migraines, and I’m now on the 4th month with maybe 2 migraine free days in the two weeks since injection. The last two months I used the syringe which also gave me a minor allergic reaction on my stomach. I’ve asked the pharmacists and they don’t think the injector could make a difference and I don’t think so either but could it? Or is it simply not working anymore? Or am I just having rebound headaches at this point? I honestly have no idea anymore.

OTC meds don’t work anymore and triptans work maybe half the time, I also usually take them too late because the migraine sometimes goes away on it’s own or after food. I either still don’t know my warning signs or don’t have them. After a full on migraine weekend, I cut out OTC meds and have been okay for the last two days with a minor headache on and off, but nothing like this weekend. I also started taking magnesium, foam rolling more, doing at home neck massage. Not sure what to do anymore. Any advice will be appreciated!
