My doctor gave me a sample of it and I want to start taking that instead of using triptans. It was more effective for me and I feel it would benefit me greatly taken as a preventative.

My family doctor doesn’t have any appointments until August so they set me up with a different doctor I haven’t met yet. I’m unsure whether this will matter in the approval process but I’m expecting to be denied the first time anyway and have to appeal. I’m wondering if I should wait for my usual doctor or if it even matters

What experience did you guys have in trying to get approval through insurance? After approval, how much do you have to pay? Are any of you being denied, what to do then?

Any time i go to the doctor, the appointment is $300 so I dont want to waste this trip with the other doctor if i have to see my own to be approved. I want to hear your experience with this process and any advice based on your personal experiences is appreciated
