My experience-Weird new symptom? Song lyrics randomly sound like gibberish.

I’ve been having this weird thing happen and I’m wondering if it might be a symptom of my migraine or a side effect of the medication they put me on for it. I’m on day 70 now of a status migraine.

Several weeks ago when my alarm went off … I couldn’t make sense of it. It was Jucie by Lizzo. And like the music sounded the same, but the lyrics didn’t. They sounded like gibberish, or like they were in a different language all together. I laughed about it and assumed it was because I wasn’t fully awake. When I went back and played the clip on my phone once I was more awake it sounded correct.

The second and third time it happened, I was also not really awake and I assumed I was correct that it was just me not being fully awake.

Then today I woke up before my alarm was scheduled to go off. I was up for 30 or 45 minutes before it went off and just sat and enjoyed the quiet (I forgot to turn it off once I was awake. I do that a lot). The song was Tonight by Kesha (so different song), and again it sounded like the song, but the lyrics sounded completely different. They sounded like they were just gibberish. It was a little more scary this time, because I was fully awake. I played the clip back a few minutes later, and it sounded mostly normal. I waited a few more moments and played it and it sounded completely normal.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I do plan to call my Dr tomorrow. Its just so strange.
