My experience-Upcoming "Specialist" Appointment

At the end of the month I have an appointment at a "Pain & Research Center." I forgot I even had a referral to this one. As of today, I've been on the wait list for this clinic for 27 months.

It's a 5 hour drive from my home, so hubs and I get the added enjoyment of the cost of the hotel, and gas to get there at $1.97 a liter.

He tells me that maybe this one will be different. Maybe this doctor will help me. I just don't know anymore.

I'm pretty sure I've had almost every medical test in existence. I went to a neurologist who insisted I buy his book at the end of my appointment. Another neurologist told me the lesions on my brain were due to my advanced age. At the time of that appointment i was 46. I've been to a rheumatologist who told me I needed to go to church.

I've tried botox, preventatives, rescue meds, vitamins, supplements, yoga, massage, mindfulness, meditation.

I went to a traditional Cree Healer, which in all honesty was one of the coolest experiences of my life.

I'm just so tired. I'm 52 and I feel like I'm 82. But I feel like stomping my feet like a 2 year old. I don't wanna go.

Not sure if there's any point to this post, just needed to rant I guess.
