My experience-Migraines triggered by hormones?

Hi all,

I had the worst migraine I’ve ever had last week. I vomited several times. Cried in a restaurant while trying to eat lunch from the pain. Tried not to cry all day because it would make the pounding worse. Had a headache hangover afterward for a couple days where I was just out of it. Took a full 100mg triptan dose but it seemed to help only a little which was a first. I got off my birth control a couple months ago. I did have migraines while on it, but they seem more frequent and intense lately. I’m also trying to get pregnant, so I’m starting to track ovulation and all that so I’m curious if hormones are playing a role. Would love to get others’ take if they’ve had experiences with hormonal migraines.
