My experience-High School accommodations?

Has anyone had to fight for accommodations for absences at school due to migraines? My daughter has recently been having a migraine every 10 days or so this year and she has missed so much school that we’ve been told she will soon not get credit for any work missed in class (even a test would have to be a 0) if she’s not there. She goes to a Private HS and we’ve been called in to have a meeting with administration next week. There is a chance we may be discussing something else unrelated to her migraines (she’s unhappy and is thinking of leaving the school and we have let them know this recently) but I want to be prepared in case this about her missing school and maybe a warning for next year. I have no idea. I don’t know anything about requesting medical accommodations.
