My experience-One migraine, back to back migraines, or rebound headache?
I’ve been trying to use Migraine Buddy consistently for a few months. I’ve noticed a trend that is somewhat frequent.
My migraines always start the same way and can last up to 72 hours if I don’t catch it in time. I have sharp pain behind my left eye as the main symptom.
Whenever I don’t catch it, and it’s a bad one that lasts for a while, I often have a day or two of another type of headache / migraine that feels similar to really bad congestion, with some tension in the back of my head and neck. The typical eye pain isn’t present during these.
I use Sumatriptan 100mg, and occasionally take ibuprofen with it but not usually. I don’t take more than 2 in a day, per the instructions. With my preventive, I’m down to 2-3 migraines a month. So I feel like it’s not a rebound headache.
Does anyone else have this? Could it be one migraine with multiple stages?
