Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. An air of secrecy can consist of visible disturbances, such as flashes of mild or blind spots, or different disturbances, such as tingling on one thing of the face or in an arm or leg and concern speaking.
My experience-Dangerous Migraine
A week ago I had a blinding migraine or aura come visit. Being blind as it is in one eye. I had to pull over to a parking lot and take a nap for a couple of hours. I take sumatriptans on the on set of symptoms 50mg. This time the medication didn't seem to help as I was blinded, nauseated and left in a state of confusion at where I was. I don't even remember how I got into the parking lot when I came to my senses. I remember hearing someone tap on the window and ask if I was ok, blinded by the sunlight I responded I was ok and had a terrible headache. I couldn't find my phone to call my spouse. So I napped for a couple of hours until I could come to my senses enough to drive. I finally got home and my spouse asked where I was because it was a couple of hours past my normal home time. She took me to bed and gave me pain medication and I went right to bed. The next couple of days were cloudy with sore head. Went to the doctor and I think this is beyond my physicians expertise and need to see a neurologist or migraine specialist. I don't suffer from daily or weekly migraines as mine seem to be more seasonal. Sometimes they are bad like this one.
Anyone else have cluster or big migraines that are concerning? Anyone else feel like they are one migraine away from a stroke?
