My experience-Flashing Images during Migraine?
I have read up so much on migraines but have not heard anyone ever mention this. I am not fully sure if it is migraine related, pain related or something else entirely, so anyone with similar experience or knows what it is would be helpful
Sometimes when I am tossing and turning in bed with a migraine (you know the times when you can't keep still due to the pain level) I get flashing uncontrolled images in my mind, one after the other. Kinda like how Hollywood portrays mindcontrol videos, like image flash on screen every half a second in rapid succession. The images aren't bad per se (eg could be a sequence like stuffed toy, old house, cup, stuffed toy, spider, stuffed toy, plate of pasta, stuffed toy) and if I actively think about something they stop. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it only last for a few minuites a couple of times in 30 mins
Its not the same as thinking of an image, the image comes before the thought. For instance in comparison, if I say think of an elephant, you know why you have an elephant image in your minds eye, as opposed to an elephant image appears in your mind and then you think "oh that's an image of an elephant"
Does ANYONE else experience this or heard of this?
