Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. An air of secrecy can consist of visible disturbances, such as flashes of mild or blind spots, or different disturbances, such as tingling on one thing of the face or in an arm or leg and concern speaking.
My experience-Botox for Occipital Neuralgia
I had a decent amount of Botox injected into my Occipital region in the back of my head. Then completed with the rest of the Migraine Protocol. You can find this Protocol via images online for reference.
I have had very bad Migraines off and on since I was six years old. It wasn't until when I was 35 when I got Ridicular type pain in the back of my head and neck. Although my left hand initially went numb then it was the left hand followed by that neck and head pain.
Much later it was determined this was not a Cervical disc issue or a neck issue. It was discovered that it's much more possibly a Cervical Facet Syndrome. So now it's a, "chicken or the egg' type situation. Not sure which one started. The ridicular pain has gone down dramatically but still chronic and unpleasant.
I have been on Cymbalta and now Seroquel which have worked the best for major chronic pain. Gabapentin just made me sleepy and nothing else has worked. Trying to get on Lyrica as a back up plan if the Botox doesn't work or barely works.
Want to detail my journey with chronic pain for anyone else dealing with this $hit. I know so many people are and don't get the loving care in a protocol to weed out what is causing it and to center on the problem and a potential solution.
Today May 10th 2023 is the first today to focus the Botox in the occipital region. This again is due to this awful headache band of scalp/forehead tension with creepy tingling tension all over my head. Shall see how it goes.
