My experience-Migraine or rebound headache

So my migraines are usually menstruation induced. I got my last period April 4th and yesterday was the last day. During this time I had a migraine everyday, and took rizatriptan (Maxalt) almost each of these days. I used up about 8 tablets, took the last one yesterday. Today I woke up with something similar to a tension headache, it hurt mostly on the back of my head and eventually got better, but later during the day I could feel the migraine building up. I read about rebound headaches and I don’t want to take another maxalt, but it feels like only that can help me. I wonder if what I felt in the morning was a rebound headache while now I’m just having another migraine attack and if it’s safe to take another maxalt. I took 50mg of paracetamol instead but it obviously did nothing. I’m so tempted to take another maxalt but afraid of ending up in a never ending cycle of migraines 😩
