I have had migraines for 26 years. As an adult, I have suffered through 20 of them per month until I was put on Aimovig. That worked well, but insurance and the prescription helper program ran out. So I was switched to Qlipta and that became unavailable after 3 months. I'm now on Ajovy. I take rizatriptan for each migraine.

I have put on 25 pounds since the beginning of Aimovig, 2.5 years ago. I can't lose it. I'm starving and I've NEVER been a hungry person. My doctor has put me on phentermine to help with the weight but I couldn't tolerate the amount of breakthrough migraines it gave me.

I know none of those medicines carry a weight gain label. But.... Nothing else has changed. Hormones have been checked. I exercise, I don't exercise. I've eaten healthy for the majority of the time.

What the hell is happening to my body??????
