My experience-does your visual aura take a few days to fully restore vision?

i always have a visual aura before a migraine, followed by the usual hemiplegic symptoms, aphasia, etc. i’ve noticed for most of my migraine life, the patches of blindness don’t end right away. they come back, but they’re not the jagged lines, they’re more of a soft hole in my peripheral vision. it usually goes away after a few days and it’s not constant, but it’s strong enough for me to think another migraine might be starting. im afraid to drive when this happens, so migraines take me out of life for days at a time. it’s so scary that this condition can affect so many different things. :( is this normal?
