My experience-HELPBotox Quesions/ Experience- wearing off/breakthrough

I'm at week 8 of botox on Tuesday and have had a pretty bad migraine for 4 days. Botox has reduced the frequency and severity of migraines from about week 2 - 6 with a few breaking through and still pretty bad during menstrual period. This one is so bad I can't turn my head without being in pain and nausua. Not due for my next botox until the 16th of March but I'm considering paying out of pocket and getting the shots again. My questions are: - when did you botox wear off and how (overnight/slowly). - how to tell if it's a breakthrough migraine vs wearing off? - how often do you get them (I heard you can do every 8 weeks). - what did you do in between.

I think I have massive PTSD as I was in bed from September to December and was just getting a bit of my life back -started driving and returned to work.

I also have 3 kids and massive anxiety which isn't helping 😓
