My experience-Questions about NSAIDs

So, back in April of 2022, when I was diagnosed with migraines I was immediately put on Naproxan, which is a NSAIDs. I knew NSAIDs could increase the risk of heartburn and acid regurgitation by 60%, which is why most people are put on antacids if they are on NSAIDs for an extended period of time. Which is why is it normal for a neurologist not to think about that? I wasn't put on an antacid until November of 2022 by my rheumatologist when she heard I was of Naproxan and was experiencing GI issues and wasn't on an antacid. So, I have been wondering if anyone else was put on a form of NSAIDs and wasn't put on an antacid by their neurologist, or was put on an antacid later by a different doctor?
