Barometric pressure is also up and down every day. I used to live by the coast and things were a lot more even there. Anyhow... I had a random idea to try 100mg aspirin every day, kind of as a prophylaxis. It worked! No headaches for 4 days. But I ended up with horrible stomach ache. I knew I was sensitive to NSAIDs and aspirin but I thought 100mg should be fine. Obviously I stopped taking it, but the next next day I had a headache again. Sometimes a codeine/paracetamol/caffeine/doxylamine combination works but other times it's not enough so I have to take ergotamine. Not sure what to do. I feel like I have to take painkillers every day and I was trying to avoid it. Aspirin is supposed to be good for your heart, too, so I thought it would be a great solution. I know I can take some ppi to reduce side effects, but really not sure I want to go that route. (And ppis have their own side effects)

Edited to add: I'm not new to headaches/migraines. I've battled them for about 10 years now. I know some of my triggers. I've also got to a point where I had MOH from ergotamine and it was hell to break that cycle. Until we moved here I only had to take it maybe 3 times a month mostly around "that time of the month". My other big trigger is sugar and I haven't won the fight in that area, yet. 😔
