My experience-What is the safest daily migraine preventative?

My migraines keep getting worse and more frequent. They're largely prevented by taking Advil, Aleve, or Aspirin every night before bed, with Aspirin working the best around 500mg, which is a lot. All of these come with side effects and aren't recommended for daily use though.

Are one of these options the safest with the least side effects? Or are there daily prescriptions that are better for you when used long term? I've avoided daily preventative prescriptions until this point, but its getting to the point where I may want to give them a try. But if the OTC options are all safer than any prescription, I'll just stick with them and not worry about the side effects.
