My experience-Trudhesa experience
Trying to figure out if Trudhesa worked for me (sounds stupid, I know). I’ve been in a real migraine hole lately and have been trying a lot of different meds to find both a good preventative and a reliable rescue. Currently I am titrating up on protryptaline as the preventative but having difficulty with rescue med. Zomig nasal spray used to be my go-to, but it seemed to quit working. Last week the doctor prescribed Trudhesa and today was the first time I tried it. I was having a headache that was at least a 9/10, if not a 10. I used the Trudhesa and other than super weird side effect of completely blocking up my nose, I didn’t notice any effect. An hour and a half after the dose my head still hurt quite a bit. I took a two hour nap, and when I woke up my headache was down to around a 3 or 4. Now I’m wondering if the improvement was due to the medication or the nap - because wouldn’t a medication show effectiveness after an hour or so? I feel like I’m running out of options and it’s so depressing.
