My experience-Preventative Steps When "Migraine Weather" Is Forecasted?

Between the Accuweather website, WeatherX and Migraine Buddy, I've got (what seems like) a good set of tools to be notified when "migraine weather" is coming.

The question is: What, if anything, can be done as a result of having a bad forecast? Are we basically just being told "Get ready.......'cause this is gonna hurt."?

Someone posted they take Sudafed (I think) when migraine weather is forecasted.

I know WeatherX sells earplugs. I'm a little dubious on getting them - just because I've bought other things for headaches and they seemed gimmicky. Plus, I already own custom fitted earplugs. (I'm frequently in loud environments and I have them for that.)

I'm wondering if my earplugs would serve the same purpose as the WeatherX. I'm kind of assuming the point of the earplugs is to make the pressure change less dramatic....i.e. less shocking. Is that the theory behind why they (supposedly) work?

What do folks here who watch the weather do when things don't look good for the next 24-48 hours?
