some backstory... A year ago my primary doctor suggested I take 2 extra strength tylenol and a naproxen (500 mg) whenever I feel the slightest hint of a headache/migraine. I've only had to do this combination about 5 or 6 times in the last year (I get monthly menstrual-related migraines) but the last 2 times the naproxen made my lips tingle. A friend suggested substituting aleve for the naproxen - basically lowering my naproxen dose by half.

Anyways, has anyone done 2 extra strength tylenol with aleve? I'm nervous it might not be effective enough to knock out my migraines but I also don't want to continue taking the higher dose naproxen.
