My experience-Persistent migraine aura.

Just wondering if anyone has a migraine eye aura like me out there in the world and what has helped if you’re like me? I feel like I’m the only one like me.

When I was 14 I had a hemipeligic migraine and was sent to the ER. Ever since then I’ve had migraines daily. I now get them 5x a day if I don’t take any medications. They’re very debilitating. The weird thing is that when I was about 17 years old one day I got a permanent (I think migraine related?) eye aura.

First the aura starts with a floater or two, and then it looks like how light glares and ripples on a swimming pool in my entire vision field moving every way and is sort of like tunnel vision almost. I then get bad migraines after seeing this. This happens in bright light and whenever I go outside the entire sky lights up with my aura. White colors and bright colors trigger my aura too. It’s really uncomfortable when this happens and it hurts. I’ve had my eyes checked and I’m healthy in the eye department. My neurologists don’t have an explanation. My meds don’t really take away my aura. My aura is pretty much constant and doesn’t go away. I live in sunglasses. Does this eye aura happen to anyone else? Any recommendations?
