My experience-What are your strategies for the final 2 weeks before Botox?

Hi everybody,

This is a big question for anybody who gets Botox injections for migraines.

Through countless hours of insurance calls, tears, and doctor visits, I was finally able to be approved for Botox injections every 12 weeks a few months ago. When I say that Botox was life changing for my migraines, that’s the ultimate understatement. The first 10 weeks are weeks with practically no pain or discomfort, but the final 2 weeks I start getting my brutal migraines again.

My neuro said it was pretty common for the last 2 weeks to be tough for people, so I was hoping for any advice/strategies to prevent (or lessen) the migraines you get the last 2 weeks before your next round of Botox? TYIA for any help.
