My experience-Migraine causing diarrhea like urge to poop??

So I've had migraines for about 6 or 7 years now and they were well under control until last Spring. On May 1st of 2021 I had an excruciating migraine and ever since then my migraines have increased in frequency.

They started out every couple of months, then every month, and now every few weeks.

Today I had my worst migraine episode ever. I usually feel my migraines coming on and can tell if I'm having a regular headache or if I'm going to get a migraine. Today was different. The span of time from which I thought, "Oh, I might get a migraine" to me dry heaving over the toilet with nausea and extreme head pain was 3 minutes tops. I took a Sumatriptan and for the first time ever, I cried from a migraine. I was literally on the floor crying, begging for the meds to kick in. And then, another first. As my head pain and nausea started subsiding my stomach started gurgling and feeling weird and I had a sudden urge to poop, similar to the urgency felt with diarrhea. So to make an embarrassing story short, I was crying, pooping in the dark because turning on the light bothered my eyes too much, wondering what the hell was wrong with me.

Has anyone experienced similar stomach issues from a migraine episode? I wonder if it was just coincidence or if this is the latest development in my migraines worsening :(
