My experience-Waking up in the middle of the night with a migraine?
For months I have been waking up every night between 2-3:30am super hot and with intense pressure in my head and a throbbing headache. I kept a camera on in my room, and there is nothing happening to me to wake me up, and the temperature in the room does not change, so it doesn't make sense I'm suddenly getting so hot. I'm actually pretty cold when I first go to sleep-- I keep the thermostat low and wear light clothing and light blankets to prevent getting hot.
The other weird thing is most of my normal daytime migraines feel worse if I move, but this nightly one feels slightly better if I sit straight up. It's like the pressure in my head goes down when I sit up and do some neck stretches. That's nice and all, but this totally wakes me up and is interfering with my sleep.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? I'm 36F, normal BMI, low blood pressure, normal blood tests and a seemingly benign brain tumor in my cerebellum. I have been on Botox and Ajovy for 3 years with no previous issues.
