Posting this to spread awareness of the potential link between Essure and migraines. Essure is a medical device for tubal ligation that is no longer on the market. Last summer my migraines increased dramatically, as I was doing research, I bumped into articles about a large legal settlement for people who had Essure due to the negative health impacts, including migraines. I convinced my doctor to remove my Essure device as my migraines started the same year I got the device. My migraines immediately started reducing in quantity and severity and no longer take over my life. I’m 8 months post surgery and hopeful the on-going reduction in migraines will continue.
